YourNextRoll
A privacy-first job-search tracker that scores opportunities against what actually matters to you, with a built-in networking tracker most competing tools don’t offer.

The Need
Two gaps. Generic job-search spreadsheets treat opportunities as interchangeable, but role level, location, culture and salary matter differently to different people, and off-the-shelf trackers and job boards don’t let you weigh and compare on your own priorities.
And as job searching shifts toward being relationship-driven rather than pure applications, the networking side, outreach, contacts and follow-ups, is something people rarely document in a spreadsheet at all.
Process
Started as a personal Google Sheet with a weighted scoring system, built to compare opportunities against my own priorities rather than track them as a flat list. Interest from other job seekers, through the non-profit Gvahim, validated the need beyond personal use.
I rebuilt it as an app in Base44, where user testing surfaced the networking gap and led to a built-in contact tracker. After finding that Base44 exposed every user’s data to admins by default, a limitation shared across the vibe-coding platforms I tested, I rebuilt from scratch on Vercel and Supabase with per-user data isolation required from the start.
Value
Weighted scoring to compare opportunities on personal criteria, a networking tracker most competing tools don’t offer, and full control over your data: CSV export, delete on demand, and a documented privacy notice and terms of service. Sixteen users so far, all word of mouth.
